Salamander Stoves A Warm Heart

TURBOBLAZE is a patented system designed to create the maximum amount of secondary combustion within a wood burning stove. Employing an insulated passageway which is configured to substantially increase the turbulence of an exhaust stream passing through the firebox, baffle and flue outlet on the stove. The passageway is configured to impart a rotation to the passing exhaust stream in one direction and to successively impart a rotation in the opposite direction. The insulated passageway comprises a plurality of helically extending channels. The passageway is also configured to have an increasing cross-sectional area to insure sufficient residence time for effecting the secondary combustion of the exhaust gases.

TURBOBLAZE maximises the efficient additional combustion properties by mixing two streams of secondary preheated controllable air. By adjustment and regulation of the dual control system maximum rotation and balance of the exhaust stream can be achieved to promote the most effective secondary combustion conditions. The rear chamber channels primary air, heating the air via internal reeds and then directing the air into the firebox through jets located at varying heights. The upper chamber heats secondary air via a reed system which simultaneously narrows the airstream increasing its turbulence and velocity. This turbo accelerated air is directed down over the stove glass, preventing the glass from collecting soot and tar deposits. This heated stream of air is then mixed with the air entering from both the primary air inlet as well as from the rear chamber, to promote greater turbulence and therefore superior secondary combustion.

The result is a bright and lively flame, a clean stove window and maximum fuel efficiency.

TURBOBLAZE TECHNOLOGY - ECO FRIENDLY & COST EFFECTIVE
You can buy a stove today for as little as £200. It may claim airwash capabilities by having a simple air inlet above the door but in reality a cheap stove often equates to a sooty window and chimney problems.
Many more discerning stove manufacturers do include secondary combustion capabilities within their stoves and some are more effective than others.
Salamander stoves incorporates the unique TURBOBLAZE system which produces the brightest of flame patterns, excellent glass maintenance and a 50% efficiency improvement over conventionally baffled stoves.
In addition, the exhaust gases passing through the flue system or chimney are much cleaner, resulting in less sweeping and a healthier draw.
You may well save £200 by buying a cheaper stove but this may prove less cost effective in the long run when you burn twice as many logs to produce the same level of heat and possibly promote chimney and flue issues.
